    From Execution
    to Intelligence

    11 years. Three industries. One deliberate pivot.

    My career started where most product careers do, in the trenches. Over 11 years I worked across IT, business operations, and product management, learning how organisations actually function versus how they think they function.

    The shift happened when I started seeing the same pattern everywhere: companies talking about AI transformation while their teams were still copy-pasting data between spreadsheets. I realised the gap was not technology, it was product thinking. Nobody was asking the right questions before building.

    That shift, from execution to intelligence, was deliberate. Not to prove a point, but to develop the kind of judgment that only comes from shipping real products, making real mistakes, and iterating in public. That judgment is what I now teach.

    UI Designer, First Role

    Entered the industry as a UI Designer, developing a deep understanding of user behaviour, visual systems, and the gap between what products look like and how they actually work. This design foundation became the lens through which every product decision since has been made.

    Pivoted to Business Analyst

    Recognised early that understanding the business behind the product was as important as designing it. Transitioned into Business Analysis, bridging technical teams and commercial stakeholders, and developing the structured thinking that would underpin every product role ahead.

    Earned a senior leadership position, taking ownership of larger product portfolios and cross-functional teams. Operated at the intersection of strategy and execution, setting product direction, aligning stakeholders, and consistently delivering at pace without compromising on quality.
